This product allows you to change balls of different sizes, and also has a hook. As for me, I have two different trailers with different sized balls and instead of trying to find a receiver in one size and another on the other side, he just has it in one. For me it is much more convenient. Plus the hook is a bonus too. It's a lot easier to hook with a chain than a ball and you know it's secure so it doesn't slip off the top of the ball but fits into the hook. Overall for me this project is good value for money and it comes with a locking pin which is a nice addition too.
