I ordered these to prevent my piercing from growing back when I was at school about 4 months ago. The first time I tried to insert the pin, the ball broke in half. Needless to say, the hairpin was useless at that moment as well. I thought maybe just one was inferior. The other 8 I entered were fine. I kept them all for about 4 months. I just tried to pull them out and 2 out of 3 balls just broke in half. I haven't filmed the rest yet. If you're considering buying I wouldn't rely on them for multiple purposes which seems a bit wasteful. I will say that I had no problems with piercings when I had them and I really liked them.
