Review on Godinger 9311 CANDLE SNUFFER PLAIN by Nate Ducey

No silver. It's nickel plated. These are two different materials with different textures and behaviors. Some people are actually allergic to nickel and NOT to silver. If you want it to have a rustic feel, this isn't for you. If you want shine without patina - if you want nickel - then this nickel-plated candle sniffer is for you. The design itself is solid and pleasant. The luster of the surface reflects and complements the light of nearby candles in a semi-dark room. Fingerprints are visible but easily erased. The weight is good and the proportions are elegant and bar-shaped. The product is to be commended. Sellers are not. This item is falsely advertised when the box it comes in is correctly labeled ("nickel plating", attached image). Although I wanted silver I'm sure many potential buyers will be pleased to know that this item does not tarnish at all. Please correct the text. I would like to give this item four or five stars.
