Disclaimer: I received this product for free from Vine. With my aging eyesight, it's getting harder and harder to read the interpolation marks on analog calipers. Comparing with this digital caliper, accurate measurements and readings become easier. I should have gotten one a year ago. I chose this instrument from the many digital calipers on Vine because it came with a carrying case, a bonus set of probes, and an extra set of LR44 batteries. as opposed to 0.1mm on my old calipers. In addition to the plastic digital display and plastic markers, the structure is made entirely of high quality stainless steel and weighs 168 g (5.93 oz). 1/128" precision. You can re-zero the calipers with the push of a button. There is a small touch chart on the back with ISO metric and Whitworth standards. 32 sizes are stamped in both mm and inches and include (Dimensions in mm) 0.53, 0.55, 0.58, 0.60, 0.63, 0.65, 0.70, 0.75, 0.80, 0.88 The probes are made of steel, not made of stainless steel, and were heavily smeared with machine oil when received. Overall, a good package at a reasonable price, I am completely satisfied.
