This pin came in a nice box which is great for gift wrapping. The pin itself is a bright and shiny silver color and looks great on dark colored fabrics. The engraving on the angel's wing is detailed and beautiful. The crystals shine and there's no glue behind me. Chains tend to twist and tangle, but I expected that. Straightening the limbs takes a few minutes after you attach the pin to the lapel. My needle is missing one of the crystals and there were two nicks in the wing. This is jewelry, so the sebum will discolor over time. That. It's a safety pin, so it shouldn't make too much contact with the skin, and discoloration shouldn't be as much of a problem as it is with a ring or bracelet. The wand clasp and mine were tight and worked well. The price seems a bit high to me. The pin is beautiful but clearly looks and feels like jewelry.
