This item fixed my CEL code (p0106) on my 2000 Mazda Miata. After cleaning the solenoid and doing all I could I finally found it as a replacement and it's very easy to install! Basically all you have to do is find your current one, which was under the hood on the passenger side of the car. Disconnect the electrical wire that goes to the back, disconnect the 2 vacuum lines that go there, connect the new one, make sure the vacuum lines go back to the correct connectors, snap it back where the old one was , and you're done! If the check engine light comes on again, you likely have a bad sensor or your intake manifold needs to be removed and cleaned. Hope this helps someone!
