The boots are warm, fit true to size, love the Velcro closure and having the option of many colors is nice. I used to have this style boots many years ago (they were called Moon Boots back then). I was excited to find them again. However, unlike the boots I used to wear and even though these are advertised to be, these boots are NOT waterproof. I have worn them 2x in just a few inches of snow each time for about an hour the first time and less than that the second time. My socks were wet at the toes and my feet began to get cold. They leak where the suede portion is. Such a shame because I wanted to love these! I live in the mtns where we get snow often and I get tired of having to lace and unlace winter boots so the Velcro closure was ideal. I may try spraying the suede portion with a waterproof spray versus the hassle of returning them. I would not recommend purchasing if you are truly looking for a waterproof boot though.
