You get what you pay for.
Serrated for slicing soft vegetables like zucchini and celery. But they are not suitable for carrots or broccoli. The blade is so thin that the knife bends, making it difficult to cut through tougher vegetables or fruit. I was very excited for my younger children to help make dinner but they are limited as their use is frustrating when trying to cut into tougher stuff. But for the price, what can you expect?
