Review on 🎧 JBL Reflect Mini 2.0 - Blue In-Ear Wireless Sport Headphone with 3-Button Mic/Remote by Kelly Dorsey

Downgraded from original version and will not pair with computers

I have been using the JBL Reflect Mini for a very long time. There were no problems with the original version, but after a few years the battery finally started to fail, so I bought this Reflect Mini 2. Everything about this new version seems to be a downgrade from the originals. JBL. You couldn't improve anything at all. - Will not pair with computers running Windows 10 and Bluetooth version 4.2. I tried 3 different PCs. JBL lists 4.2 as the Bluetooth version they work with so I don't understand why but it won't work. However, it connected to my iPhone with no problems. The buttons are NOT as tactile and not as easy to find with fingers as in the original. Not bad, but certainly not better. The sound is good, but not outstanding. Exactly like in the original. They added more dialogue to the voice, which really annoys me because I don't like hearing unnecessary dialogue from my Bluetooth devices that I can never turn off. It used to be perfect. They added a clip to the cable which is just weird, unnecessary and annoying. If I had kept them, I would have cut them off. If they wanted to improve on the original Reflect Mini, they should have just added magnets to hold them together around my neck while dangling and installed a more powerful transmitter. That would be a real improvement.

Pros
  • JBL Signature Sound
Cons
  • Infinitely sluggish
