I bought this to upgrade an older model receiver to play music from my phone. I am very impressed with this little device and 100% satisfied with its performance. Yes, the instructions are strange, but using them is very simple. I connected this receiver to my receiver using a coax cable (better sound quality compared to optical sound) and it works great. Pairing is easy and connects almost instantly. The antenna does not lose signal and works at a distance of at least 30 feet. Sound quality is excellent, as expected from Bluetooth, but nothing beats the sound quality you get with a direct connection. The device is solid, made of aluminum and looks great on my receiver; they complement each other in color and appearance. The lights on the front aren't too bright either. The only complaint I might have is that the unit's power cord is a bit short, but other than that it's legit and when in doubt, buy it!
