Good mid-range driving glasses

Something is wrong with the sunglass market - very cheap junk and overpriced Oakley and Ray-Ban. Where is the middle of the market? (Spoiler alert: It's here.) I usually use surprisingly decent $15 smoking goggles from welding supply stores, but my favorite model was discontinued and I lost my last pair in a moving truck. Then I lost his replacement on Lyft. You see why I'm not stupid enough to buy $300 glasses, no matter how great they are. I tried a $20 pair from Revain which was rubbish and a $5 pair from a street vendor which was also rubbish. They are inexpensive. and quality lenses. I drove them in a truck from New York to Idaho Falls and was quite happy with the visual performance. The brown color is fresh, pleasant and pleasing to the eye. There is no distortion or distortion, and glare and reflections are minimal. The polarization is strong and even. The lenses are restored to their original condition with soapy fingers, water and a quick pause-stop hand dryer. My wife's prescription glasses, with their expensive coatings, are much more difficult to clean. I deducted a star for convenience. The adjustable nose pads are too short, which means I have to squeeze them too hard to keep the glasses from banging on my eyebrows. Headphones could have had softer rubber; after a whole day of driving i feel a pinch. However, I'm picky. Will definitely buy them again if/when I lose this pair. The included case, pouch and (cheap) visor clip are a nice touch. I mostly keep them in a visor clip.
