Review on Enhanced Fluke VT04 Infrared Imager with Convenient Soft Carrying Case by Bobby Montoya

I have to admit the FLK-VT04 is a great product with one exception! I saw another reviewer comment that a firmware update was available and he recommended applying the update to extend battery life. Well I went to the FLUKE website, downloaded the firmware update, followed all the steps and now the device calibration is gone! How do I know? The device showed me a flashing red text "No stool loading". Called FLUKE and they said the only options were a refund (Revain), a replacement (Revain), or service (FLUKE at an additional cost to me). Many thanks to AMAZON for allowing me to send in my defective unit for replacement. A new/replacement VT04 will be available in a few days. This time I will use the device without updating the firmware.
