I use these with 9" x 13" skillets that have a silicone mat on the bottom. They are very well made from thick gauge stainless steel and positioned high enough above the silicone mat at the bottom of the pan to allow hot air to circulate to heat all surfaces. Since the grates are quite close together, it is advisable to spray the grate with oil before baking or roasting - this makes cleaning easier. The combination of rack, baking tray and stainless steel silicone mat is perfect for use in our Breville toaster.
