I first came across tea timers when my wife Cindy and I had a wonderful lunch at the Turnberry Hotel. We ordered tea and sandwiches and when service arrived at our table it was complete with three small timers on a wooden counter. After understanding what they were for, I decided this would be part of my kitchen essentials, even if it was a novelty from our trip. Dinner. And by the way, the tea timer helps to prepare an excellent cup of tea.
