I had so many problems with this digital thermometer. He squirts everywhere. I spend more time adjusting it than frying food. If something in the pot hits it during cooking, the thermometer will definitely move, requiring me to adjust it to the new angle it's hanging at. This is extremely difficult as the clip is metal and is attached to the pan. The entire thermometer and clamp become hot. If I touch it with my bare hands, I'll burn myself. To safely solve the freezing problem, I need to put on an oven mitt. It is extremely difficult to adjust the clip and thermometer in bulky potholders. In any case, I don't have to make these constant adjustments. The thermometer must be firmly in place. I regret this purchase and will look for a more reliable and safer thermometer.
