Great for hobbyists

Pros - Cables look high quality and connect very securely - HDMI plug and play works well, it's nice that it has built-in downscaling for graphics cards that don't know what they're dealing with should start with a 480p display . - Colors are vibrant and text is easy to read - Backlight and audio jack turn on is nice, and sound sounds good - Touchscreen responsiveness to the stylus is good. Cons - no instructions in the box, not enough instructions on the Revain page - greyscale inversion is expected on a TFT display, but the direction is wrong for landscape mode use (which all the product photos are) making the viewing angle much narrower than it should be and makes these images misleading - even on the Raspberry Pi, where the resolution was better and the text legible, the image wasn't pixel perfect and I didn't have any sharp edges. Using the FBCP drivers would probably fix this, but I haven't been able to figure out how - the touchscreen's response to a finger requires reasonable pressure and sometimes jumps when dragging/scrolling.
