DO NOT GO INTO THE PHOTOS

Should have read the reviews before buying. The very first photo is misleading, it looks like it is the same size as the Uno. You can tell it's 2 boards, but they don't match the Uno in that orientation. So if you were planning on putting this in a case like 3ple, forget it. Very misleading and there is no other reason for this image than to be misleading, especially this very first image.

    Don't judge by pictures

The pictures show a circuit board with screw terminals inside, that's what I need. There are actually 2 separate circuit boards and a screw terminal on the outside, I needed it to be the same as the Arduino UNO but with screw terminals on the outside it doesn't suit my build.

    Pros
    • fingers crossed
    Cons
    • poorly thought out

This shield provides easy access to the Arduino UNO I/O pins without soldering. However, this increases the size of the UNO, which resulted in a tight fit when I installed my UNO on a DIN rail. For most users this is not a problem. Highly recommended. Would buy again.

    Poor packaging - computer parts

Bought two. Both were crippled when they arrived. The pins are very long and very flexible. Mine were bent due to poor packaging. They're embedded in sticky foam, but that didn't stop Bigfoot from expanding them. I was able to straighten it out and use it, I just wasn't expecting it and didn't want any hassle. They work perfectly, there are no problems with screw terminals. It's nice to be able to add a link between the Uno and another display screen.

    I would buy it again

I bought these parts for my son's Arduino school project. The delivery was fast! The item worked great as soon as I installed it. Installation was a little tricky as many of the pins were quite bent (perhaps during shipping) and the rear connectors were slightly bent at the top causing them not to align with the shield I originally installed on the Arduino board had mounted. With a little effort and care I was able to straighten out the pins and heads and all of my parts fit as expected…

    Creates a durable header connection.

I was looking for a way to make a cable connector to connect to Arduino Uno. The screw terminals should make this fairly easy. I haven't connected the cables yet, but everything is fine with the screw terminals. I put it in the Uno socket and it fits. The processing quality is satisfactory.

The first block was bad, I quickly replaced it with Revain

The first that came did not suit me. The connections within the actual shielding have been loosened. The only way to get it to work was to put a lot of pressure on the block, which is obviously unacceptable. Notified Revain of the problem and they immediately sent a replacement unit. The replacement device works perfectly. This makes it much easier to securely attach the wires to the Arduino board without having to poke them into small holes on the included breadboard. I have used it on many…

    Cons
    • There are defects

Good for annoying shields that hide all contacts.

Overall it worked for my purposes - I needed access to pins after installing a TFT-LCD on an Arduino Uno. The contacts were seated in the foam block upon arrival, but they were still slightly bent when I removed them. Because they are so fragile, they were easy to bend back into the right orientation. My biggest complaint is that the solder on the pins showed quite a distance, and on one of them it even went all the way to the end in some places. I think the quality of the solder detracts from…
