I've had this for over a month, the concept is great and I love using it but unfortunately the screw on the lid is corrosive especially when you brew in it Tea and coffee and it will rust. At first I thought the insert was rusting, but it was just a spot from the cover (which I removed the rust from before taking this photo). With each use you will have a ring of rust on the lid as you can see in my photos after about 2 uses. I tried putting plastic wrap between the lid and liner to prevent this, but this resulted in the vacuum preventing the tea from flowing out quickly, so I gave up that practice. As for the rest of the product, it seems good, love the concept, I had no problems installing the valve, no leaks, and they included a wrench too. The valve feels a little wobbly, not very well made, but it works for now. You really need to provide a vented cap that is non-corrosive to this product. If that were the case I would give it a 5 star rating. Thanks for reading, I hope the manufacturer sees this and improves the product and/or helps us who have rusting lids. Oh, and I checked the lid with a magnet to see if it's stainless steel, and the insert too.
