Fixed tailgate won't open 2008 4runner
My tailgate would only open when gently closed and would no longer function fully. It was an easy install and repair. The only tools were a 10mm socket wrench and a ratchet. I had to disconnect the battery for a minute after installing it for it to work. But it's a vehicle, not a question of parts. Now the door began to close more tightly and a slight click is heard when opening. The old lock was 13 years old so maybe it was like that when it was new and just worn out, I don't remember. I will update the review if the part has problems in the future.
