I had low expectations for this steam cleaner after days reading reviews of similar products. The first wake up call when my Comforday cleaner arrived was the poor packaging. The contents of the box burst in the shipping box, so I immediately suspected the quality. The leaflet instructions were poorly written and unclear - there were many spelling, typographical and grammatical errors. Also, it didn't explain how to use each nozzle and for what purpose. My first test was to remove baked-on mold in the grooves of a kitchen faucet and the cleaner did a good job of removing the mold but no more. I then used it to clean the light droplets on the microwave door and it did a good job but had no effect on the dirt in the crevices around the door opener and other buttons that I could never reach. The final test was an old, dirty bath tub in the bathroom that I've been really trying to clean of ingrained mold and rust for years. He spectacularly failed this test. I've had much better results with a mixture of vinegar spray followed by a vigorous exfoliation with baking soda and dish soap. gentler on my limited mobility. But the Comforday steam cleaner only helped with a very light clean that I can do with just my hands and some baking soda. I will be returning this item and continue my search.
