Below is a chavan (traditional bowl or cup) that looks handmade and of excellent QUALITY! The beautifully embroidered traditional matcha fabric is also of a very high quality. The set includes a rectangular wooden tray for chachaku, a beveled bamboo matcha spoon (which is so smooth and beautifully coloured), a chasen (bamboo whisk) which is of course included, and a black ceramic tray which can be used for Chawan fits. Chakoshi (manual sieve) is included. They add an extra spoon and a beautiful hand painted duck to put the bowl on! I love this matcha tea set. honor rites and traditions by doing it right.
