Review on πŸ‘“ Classic Retro Bifocal Reading Glasses - In Style Eyes Seymore, Clear Red (+2.5x) by Chris Worlds

Revainrating 5 out of 5

Great readers that don't need to be taken off the road

I used to wear glasses and recently had cataract surgery. With the new lens implants, I no longer need glasses for distance viewing, only for reading. So I bought reading glasses. You drove me crazy I used to wear bifocals with prescription glasses and of course I could read through the bifocals and see distance with the top lens. You can't do that with readers, so I kept turning readers off. These bifocal readers are the answer. Now I can read and see far away without taking off my glasses. That makes sense and I wonder why there aren't more bifocal readers available. (I've never gotten used to varifocals, so they're gone.) Design-wise, the bezels are chunky, and I nearly deducted a star for that, but the fact that the package is thin in this kind of reader prompted me to give it a full 5 stars.

Pros
  • The frame size of these reading glasses is 5.5 inches in front and 1.25 inches in height. The size of the bifocal part of each lens is 1.125 x 0.5 inch. The frame is made of high-quality acetate and the lenses are made of aspherical plastic.
Cons
  • So far so good
