Works well. I catch about 20-25 stops. Some stations need to be tuned in by adjusting the antenna. The antenna remote and my TV remote share the same frequency, so if the volume changes in either direction, so does the antenna. A small signal that is eliminated when the volume is used in short bursts and not by pressing the button. I made a directional map to target various stations 100 miles away. If I'm aiming at a city full of barbs, I'll easily pick up any local items even if I'm not aiming that way. Keep in mind that I can see my antenna from a seated viewing position, so that helps. Even if I couldn't, I would still buy one if I needed one. I've had this antenna before and it has wintered well here in the Northeast. I only replaced it because the last one was destroyed by a branch during a storm. Bottom line, it does a good job and I have a free HDTV.
