Allows them to run and climb!
I love these boots. They are very cute and most importantly they allow my very active 5 year old to run and climb during recess. Last year he refused to wear wellies (and we live in Seattle where it rains 9 months a year) because the traditional children's boots fall off and fall through. Not those bad boys! We had several other parents asking where we got them for the same reason. I bought two sizes so we'll have a pair when his legs grow!
