Exactly what I needed. The quality seems to be good. Note: The wire is not copper (probably aluminum). Same as 18 gauge. I measured about 0.96mm on red and black with vernier calipers. The AWG spec says 1.024mm for 18 gauge, but that's close enough given the accuracy of my measurement technique. I haven't seen any discrepancy between red and black thickness that others have reported. Not saying they're wrong; I just didn't have that problem with this coil. The red and black wires separate well when pulled and separate cleanly along the seam. The insulation can be easily removed. In general very satisfied. Very handy for small automotive/electronic projects. Hope this is helpful.
