Haven't taken it out yet but will update when I do. (annual update below). The package arrived with no problems and the SUP was wrapped in a cloth bag to protect it from the rest of the parts. I immediately inflated it to check for leaks that weren't there. It was a bit of a workout, but to be honest it wasn't that bad. I will say that once you get to 15psi it gets harder. So if you plan on making this for kids, you will most likely be the one to blow it up. The pump I received can be double inflated. This means that air is pumped as it pulls and pulls. Which I'm glad because it made a quick task. It took 5 minutes (yes, I timed it π ). He also had a psi sensor that would let you know when you were done. The pump hose is securely fixed in the inlet valve so it doesn't fly all over the place, so the problem is solved. I also checked the big fin. I had a friend who bought a pretty expensive SUP and a fin that was attached with a screw. She lost her propeller while traveling from Florida to the British Virgin Islands and was unable to use it. This fin has a clip that attaches to the fin so you can't lose it. So that's a plus. Emptying: very easy, empties immediately and folds easily. I would recommend rolling it up with small ribs on top to avoid potential punctures. Bag: The bag is the only thing I don't really like. I prefer the review of the bag not that it doesn't work properly. I hate being the type of guy who complains about something that isn't broken, but I don't think this bag will last very long. It is very thin and has no padding anywhere. It fits perfectly and isn't very heavy, but the straps aren't designed for hiking to remote locations or traveling more than a few 100 meters comfortably. It's roomy enough to fit everything, unlike that air mattress we all struggle with. There are also straps on the sides to pull everything down. This is a plus. Conclusion: Everything suits me. I'm not an impulsive shopper and I'm quite thrifty so this was a big buy to gobble up. everything seems great. I'll report back here in the next week or so how it goes. Also yell at the warning sign about a sinking rudder. Update - about a year after purchase. I've used this PB about 60 times and haven't had a single issue with the board, paddle or pump. This board is much more stable than others I've worked on. The pump could be better, but it's no different than any other pump I've seen that comes with them. I've been able to travel with it several times and it's worth the checked bag fee. I even took it on an iguana hunt and it allowed me to slip through the mangroves with ease. I've attached a video of nurse sharks I got to swim with for your enjoyment. Needless to say, it's pretty durable. As expected, the bag he was carrying wore out quickly. I had to fix it a little, but in general my opinion about the purchase has not changed. 5 stars across the board!
