Bought four general purpose trimmers/clippers to try and keep the best.1. Universal trimmer Braun MGK39802. HATTEKER Hair Clipper Men's Beard Trimmer Set Cordless Mustache Trimmer Hair Clipper Set Precision Trimmer Waterproof USB Rechargeable (model not specified)3. Hatteker Men's Beard Trimmer Cordless Hair Clipper Hair Clipper Detailed 3-in-1 Trimmer for Men Hair Cutting Set Men's Grooming Kit Waterproof (Model Not Specified)4. Philips Norelco MG7750/49 Multigroom Series 7000 men's grooming kit with beard, head, body and face trimmer - no blade oil required. For reference, my previous trimmer is an old Panasonic ER2403. ).#1 Philips Norelco: terrible packaging; Millions of pieces scattered on the floor after opening the box. zero plus. Cons: You have to change every detail every time someone wants to make adjustments. Thumbs down.2. Hatteker Clippers: Terrible packaging, three layers of plastic, bits sticking out everywhere that can't be put back in the box. His stance is monstrous. The button in the middle (from 1 to 3) did not work. Body trim didn't work (literally didn't do anything). The beard cut is completely normal. thumbs down.3. Hatteker Trimmer: The packaging is ok. No body trimmer. The mount looks nice but is nothing but cheap plastic, looks like a charger but isn't, just a cheap plastic mount that has to be removed from the mount to charge. The cut is fine. Each time you need to trim your beard, you only need to remove/add one section (to condition the beard and keep the edges clean). It looks like a normal hair clipper (hair cutting has not been tested). Brown: The body trimmer works, although if it gets caught on long hair it can pull it out and cause a lot of pain and bleeding (happened to me). Similar to detail trimmer; it didn't make me bleed, but I could feel it tugging at my hair. It's a shame, because it works well as a beard trimmer. Although every time you need to trim your beard you have to add/remove two parts (to be able to groom the beard and keep the edges clean) which makes it very cumbersome. Overall the first two were terrible, the Braun was bulky and made me bleed while the Hatteker trimmer (#3) was the best of the four but definitely no better than my old Panasonic ER2403 for trimming. So #3 is fine if you want a trimmer/clipper, but if you're just looking for a clipper, go for something else (like the Panasonic mentioned above).
