They are perfect for what I was looking for! I'm an illusionist and announcer who often performs outdoors, sometimes in strong winds. This reduced wind noise to almost zero! I still hear wind noise only when the wind is strong like a storm. I used to use the standard foam blocker that came with the headset, but I have to say if you're going to be working outdoors with the headset, you're going to need it. At first I was worried it wouldn't fit on the mic. Each cover is large enough for a headset or microphone and fastens with a rubber band. One of my rubber straps snapped putting it on the mic but they give you a few covers and I don't see the need to replace them for very long.
