The sensor unit was shipped very well packaged and securely fastened in a PVC tube. It is supplied disassembled but assembly includes the required screwdriver and takes 2 minutes, basically screwing in 8 screws and following very simple visual instructions. I put it on a monitor to test it, hooked it up to my computer and it worked right away. No drivers, no calibration, nothing like that. This is very accurate when I've had an issue that there is a split second delay to register a touch, this is slower than native touchscreens such as on mobile phones, tablets or touchscreen PCs, but it's still very handy, and you forget about it pretty quickly. It detects anything that violates the sensor field, so the object touching the screen doesn't have to be bare skin or anything like that. I ended up using the thin end of a chopstick with no problem. It comes with mounting tape to place the sensor bezel on the monitor, but it's so light that a little tape on the corners goes a long way. I'm very satisfied.
