These shorts look great and are a lot lighter than stock. The clutch lever was supposed to be greased, but there was some grease left on my pin and that helped. My only doubt is that there are extra washers that I thought I would need to put on the clutch lever as well because the new one had more play than stock. After so many tedious attempts to insert a pin with a washer so often slightly misaligned, it was too tight and obviously had to be installed without the washer.
