I have been using vertical mice for many years. As a software developer, it is important to me to protect my hands from carpal tunnel syndrome. I started with a cheaper vertical mouse in 2013 (which I still use at work) and chose this delux model because the one I used at home died. The moment I took this mouse out of the box I realized how heavy it is compared to others I use. The grip is comfortable. It's a non-slip material and the forward and back buttons are intuitive. For me, pressing the forward and back buttons with my thumb is easier and faster than other vertical mice that have the forward and back buttons on the top of the thumb. Finally, there is the DPI button. Unlike the mouse at work, which has a DPI button at the top of the "cone", this button has a button at the bottom, next to the battery compartment. I think it's a good choice that prevents accidental DPI button presses, but there are only 3 DPI settings, not 4 DPI settings like other vertical mice. However, it is good for gaming and for all purposes. As a software developer, I recommend this mouse to everyone. One star for 3 DPI settings, not 4 like the mouse I use at work.
