Worked great in 02 Civic Ex - failed after a year and a half

We fixed an issue where the temp garage would heat up immediately on startup (when the engine was cold) Update: a year and a half later - The temp gauge dropped to zero while driving and the idle jumped between 1500-2500 rpm. Had to replace this sensor again to solve the problem. Bought from Advance Auto this time. Changing to 3 stars as it worked but didn't help in a short time.
