My daughter (almost 6) just loved these shoes!While we bought them more for dressing and fun purposes, she actually wore them to church and proms a few times.The fit is true to size and she says they are actually quite comfortable. Make sure you take them outside on a sidewalk to give them a little rub first as they are really slippery out of the box. The best thing about this shoe is the Closure Instead of a traditional shoe buckle, there is a silver buckle with a rubber band (see photo) This closure adds some flexibility and comfort to the upper of the shoe, which it me makes it easy for a (very independent) daughter to tie her shoes herself! :)
