I was super excited when I first got it. My dog isn't very good with "cords" or being tethered. This was soft and bright and she could see it and knew how far she could go. 3 months into it the bright orange was full and started fraying. By month 7/8 it started fraying and then the outer casing started disappearing. But underneath the rope was little tiny ropes and without the covering they spread and made it very difficult for her to walk thru. I made it last by just swapping the sides. Not sure if it's because I left it outside in the sun, rain, and snow and the fact that she would sometimes pee on it. It wasnt wrapped around a tree it was connected to a clothes line so there wasn't rubbing it thru to fray. I'm not pleased that I now have to buy another product to potentially go thru the same process. But I got what I paid for. It was $20.
