Very disappointed with this device. After reading the reviews I was expecting a little more performance. First, dim lighting. Unless you're in a completely dark room, the images will be poorly lit. Which brings us to the second problem - the slide need/eject function leaves a lot to be desired. Slides get stuck easily and are difficult to remove. Even slides hang in hard plastic holders. So if you're working in the dark to see the images, you're constantly turning the light on and off to retrieve the slides. Third, there is lint and/or dust on the inside of the lens and viewing screen that cannot be removed and disassembled. It will be returned.
