Review on GE Lighting 97493 30 Watt 100 Watt by Tay Fair

I buy these (hard to find) bulbs specifically for my 3 sided bedside reading lamp. I prefer this 30w bulb before bed while reading a book and can use my bedside lamp as an alternative stronger light during the other hours. I have found that because my lamp is close to me, the 30 watt setting is appropriate for reading books but soft enough to help me calm down and fall asleep. As expected, the 70 W and 100 W settings deliver good brightness. The reason I got 4 stars and not 5 is because I've bought a lot of these over the years and I feel like every 3rd or 4th lightbulb I get a bug that goes too fast (within a month) burns out. This can happen when switching between power supplies or simply turning on the lamp. I don't flip a switch and don't think it's my lamp, I think it's those bulbs. However, lightbulbs in general are getting harder and harder to find, and this 30/70/100 watt rating is particularly hard for me to find, so I'll grab what I can get. Overall I like it and plan to keep buying them as long as they last. Thank you for reading!
