The shelves are very well made and sturdy. I bought the 2 ft by 4 ft version and used a bolt cutter to cut off both end sections to fit on a 44 inch wall. I'm sure this isn't recommended by the manufacturer but these are still perfect for my needs. As mentioned in other reviews I used zip ties to secure them and they do not move. I also had a 17 inch stud measurement which is definitely not standard and not handled by the template. It was easily fixed by modifying the template and using a stud finder. I have to say that the template was extremely useful after marking the proper holes. Drilling pilot holes was made simple. The built-in levels are a nice touch. Those will be repurposed in other projects.Will definitely buy again.
