Review on RIKON Power Tools 80 910 Grinder: Precision Grinding for Pro-level Performance by Anthony Shields

It has some nice features but feels like it could be a little better for the price. The top plate is good and seems to fit a variety of grinder mounts. The tool tray is a bit disappointing. I guess I should have known it was going to be plastic, or how to tighten it around the round tube stand, but it seems a bit flimsy. It works, but not sure how long it will last. The only place it can be mounted is at the bottom of the tube due to its diameter, so it's a little low for me, but it's functional, I just wish it was bigger for the way I would be using it . I don't know why nobody makes a stand with a base wide enough to be stable enough without screwing it on. I realize this will give quite a bit of floor space, but it's a bit tilted when the mill is mounted on it and will definitely need to be bolted to either the floor or a wider base. Height adjustable is very convenient. Has notches on the top tube to keep it in place while you try it on for size and you can then tighten it without trying to hold it in place when you tighten the turnbuckle. There are enough recesses for one of them to work at the desired height. This will work and seems like the best choice I've looked at.
