I installed these bulbs on my 2007 FJ CRUISER, they were actually easier to install than replacing the halogen bulbs which I have used incandescent bulbs several times in the past and replaced cooling fin which can be separated from the retaining flange, you can fit the flange and snap the retaining clips in place without interference, then just glue the light with the fan back in place (the wires are already pre-connected), this works behind the battery too without having to move anything. You can then rotate the lightbulbs to get the road surface you want. These lights are very bright and it's only in daylight, hopefully they last as long as they say because they're a bit pricey.
