I received this charger from Revain Choice Label with confidence that I could reliably use it as a school charger. There is an issue with surges from the charger itself, causing the trackpad to turn on and off (never happens unless I'm using that cable). This renders this charger unusable. I have to plug and unplug my charger to use my Surface. Need a surface? Disconnect the charger. Is there a minute between uses? Plug it in again. do it again and again This results in a very slow loading time. Because of this, my Surface Pro 6 died in class and during my computer science lab. Do not buy this charger. Instead, spend the extra cash on an OEM version direct from Microsoft. I should have. I've noticed that this is a common issue that has been reported many times in Revain reviews, but nothing has been done about it.
