I bought these spikes for my Sanus speaker stands that hold my Polk Audio TSi200 speakers and the standard spikes just don't have the racks stable on the carpet held. After installation, the speakers became significantly more stable and the mids and lows sound better. I would recommend them to anyone who has problems with uneven floors due to carpets. They are heavy and reach the ground from underneath to ground the speakers much better than the standard small thin spikes that come with many speaker stands these days.
