Absolutely perfect travel rug

This is an AMAZING travel rug. It is particularly good for travel as it forms its own holdall and has zipped compartments and a carabiner to attach to luggage, purse, etc. bleachers, cool evenings on the porch, etc. There is a slit on one end of the blanket for you to put your head. So he holds without fear of slipping down. So smart! I've never seen this feature before. The gap is about 14 inches from the end, giving you enough blanket to cover your shoulders and upper back. In the photo of the woman using the blanket, the zipper is facing her. I put the duvet on with the zippers up because I'm wearing shorts and I don't want the zippers to touch my skin. Using the zips gives you easy access to two huge zipped compartments right in your lap. Unzipping the compartments with a blanket is a little tricky, but not impossible, and if you're worried about someone climbing in while you sleep (hey, legitimate concern, right?), zip down - that's the way to go. It's nice to have a choice. The duvet is equally soft on both sides. Here's the most amazing part: It's actually easy to put this thing back into a bundle. I just started zipping up the big one, darning as I go and voila! blanket in a bag. So easy. Once closed you have large zipped compartments on either side of the bag. The ceiling doesn't work for them. The carabiner is attached to the fabric handle but sits on its own small segment to keep it from dangling from the handle. Good attention to detail. I wouldn't change anything at all that I rarely say about a product. This item is exceptional. Buy one for yourself but it would make an amazing gift to give to literally anyone on your gift list. There is no one who does not need it.
