I do not use this product on my face. It would be too strong for that as I have sensitive skin. I use it almost like a skin mask on my back, shoulders and chest to treat and prevent acne. If you apply it and leave it on for a few minutes before rinsing it off with your daily shower, current blemishes will heal faster and your skin will feel smooth again. I've tried other products specifically for body acne (from Paula's Choice to Neutrogena) and none of them irritated my skin or didn't work at all. If you are struggling with "Bakne", be sure to give it a try. Also: I'm so glad I found it in a tube again! The glass pump bottle was awkward to use.
