I've been wearing these shoes for about 5 months, doing 7-8 miles a day, 5 days a week (work) and various other uses (not work). They still look good and the profile still looks like new. I had to replace them due to wear on the hardness on the bottom. By that I mean when I step on something, I feel it with my feet. Even a small stone. Overall, though, after about 850 miles of walking, I'd rate them as pretty good value. Please note that I do not list all positions that I have made. I think they have a pretty decent value. I never quite got used to the softness of the insoles that come with the shoe. I spent a lot of time and when I put them on the softness became an issue, I couldn't get them back. To be honest I don't think I would return them either as they are good shoes in many ways. They have a very good profile and very good grip. As I mentioned before, this profile still looks new and still grips very well without slipping. I would like the hardness of the bottom of the shoe to remain strong enough given their looks and grip they hold up well. Climbing about 850 steps sure affects any shoe so I can't fault them for that. The only reason for 3 stars instead of 4 is the softness on the feet. A little more firmness and it will be 4 to 4 1/2 stars, especially at this price point.
