Review on 🧵 Full Size 200 Yards Each: Set of 24 Assorted Spools of Thread by Nicole Mcleod

I bought this thread for a class I teach at a K-8 school. I thought it would be a good deal but it was particularly prone to wear, breakage, tension issues etc. The new sewers already have a lot of machine handling issues. This thread exacerbates and exacerbates all the problems children have, making mistakes even harder to correct. Each roll is very difficult to start and basically requires peeling off the labels and breaking the notch that pierces through the outer end. Also, the INS end was actually more accessible and often stuck out, meaning it had to be fixed or removed feet from the wrong end before it was noticed. Dots and visible protruding fibers. Terrible stuff that caused even more problems. Tested on 9 different brands and models of sewing machines. I've been using for a few months. It cannot maintain good tension and smooth flow for satisfactory sewing. MIGHT be suitable for hand sewing, but I definitely wouldn't want to rely on it for seams that are expected to hold when pulling in a garment or item that is expected to support weight. like a bag. And it's too boring and blurry for decorations. There can be no talk of brilliance. A very disappointing experience.
