I bought these so my kid friends could have safe fins on my skipper fish to surf with. The kids used it and then I used it and it washed up in the shore fin and grabbed the sand and broke right away not even 24 hours after it came in the mail. So the price is a bit high for plastic fins that break easily. The fins have a subtle soft edge. Better than standard plastic surf fins which are insanely sharp on the trailing edge. But I'm wondering if I can just grind the standard fins or even water tape seal them and that would be a better solution than these fins (I also know that Protec makes soft-edged fins).
