I bought one of these to try first and was so pleased with the results that I bought this set of 3 so I wouldn't run out of piggy banks too quickly. Some people will complain, I'm sure, but they're probably trying to twist the pencil to sharpen it. For best results, insert the pencil with a little force and then twist the sharpener. Apply pressure as needed. Some crayons don't require much pressure. Otherwise you get a stub too quickly. For a cheap sharpener this one is better than some of the more expensive ones.
