In an MS world with lousy Windows compatibility, finding a good working webcam (and sometimes just any USB device) is like a treasure hunt. The old webcams I had during previous iterations of Windows failed on Win10 x64, so after a few years of inactivity I finally had to quit as the transition from my desktop to my laptop (with built-in camera) was becoming more and more painful. Why webcams have so many options for useless functions is beyond me (hint - Logitech only needs about 100 useless options in their crazy lineup). I stumbled across this camera and at first glance it seemed too good to be true for the price, especially compared to some of the big brands I've owned in the past. It was definitely worth trying. It took about 30 seconds to install and everything just worked in Win10 x64 (I'm patched with the latest/biggest/breakthrough changes on Windows), so that was a pleasant surprise. I needed it mainly for MS Teams and didn't have any issues with either the camera or the microphone. I interviewed several people on the phone and they all said everything looked and sounded good from their end. Problems with poorly lit rooms. As soon as I turn the light back on or something white on the screen shines in my face, the camera looks as expected. As long as you are in a reasonably lighted area I don't think you will have a problem with this site. Video quality from the camera was excellent - no stuttering or anything - very similar to using my phone for video. Very satisfied with the purchase and even more satisfied with the price given the alternatives on the market.
