I like surround sound

As I usually listen to music on my phone when I'm on the go I have a pair of headphones so this is the first pair of headphones I've ever had. obsessed and I can't compare to other headphones but I like these. I wanted it for my computer because I stay up late for work, need music or movies, and don't want to wake my family. You must use a USB audio controller to get surround sound from THX (where available). Otherwise, you'll only get stereo sound through the 3.5mm jack that's directly built in, so you won't get 360-degree sound if you plug it into your phone, for example. I don't think spatial audio works on gaming consoles, only on your PC. Having not owned any other headsets I don't know how standard comfort can be but these are very comfortable. The ear pads I've tried in stores don't fit my ears and I don't think I have big ears. I wasn't sure about them as they are round (usually oval earcups work better) but they cover my ears completely. I've tried previous Krakens in the store which for some reason didn't fit me so maybe they changed something with the cup size here, not sure. I wear glasses and the headband isn't too tight so I don't feel like my temples are pinching. They're snug enough for tabletop use, but not snug enough for street use when you're dancing in them or shaking your head, as they slide forward or backward with moderate head tilt. The ear pads feel cool with prolonged use. I usually wear them at night for about 3-4 hours and don't sweat on them. The faux leather is very smooth and feels luxurious. They do not cancel or block noise. As mentioned above, they're not so tight that you can't hear your surroundings when there's no sound, but with a little bit of sound they easily drown out any sounds around you. I like the convenience of having the manual volume control on the cable so I don't have to constantly adjust the volume on the computer for different applications or different media. I'm not a gamer, so I usually turn my mic off (again, a handy built-in switch), but this comes in handy for conference calls. No, they do not glow like other Razer products. You can adjust the microphone noise sensitivity in the Razer Synapse 3 setup tool, allowing you to disable keyboard clicks if you wish. You can adjust audio equalizer, adjust microphone volume and sensitivity, normalize volume, reduce ambient noise, refine voice, etc.
