I originally bought the only MagSafe car mount available on the Apple website (Belkin) that was designed for ventilation. My car has vertical air vents and the Belkin mount doesn't stay firmly in place. I looked on Amazon for a dash or window mount option and kept this product for some time. I bought it because it has both an air vent mount and a suction cup mount for the dash/window and I was planning on using the dash mount option. I did, however, opt for a vent mount (again on the VERTICAL vents). To my surprise it works really well and doesn't slide up or down the vent. He is very stable. The magnet works great, only the phone fell off because I accidentally hit it with my hand, but with potholes, rough road etc the phone stays attached (Iphone 12 Pro plus MagSafe case). To be honest I haven't tried the charging feature, I don't want a cable going through my panel and my truck has a built in wireless charger; but having it if i ever need it is a good option. Very impressed with this MagSafe compatible mount/charger and glad I chose it. Thanks very much!
